The new chi ha was built up as the new tank killer for japan BR 2 but honestly it kinda even sucks for that role now that the Na-to is also BR 2 which offers 140mm of pen which should be really handy angainst KVs and shermans.
Currently the long gun has 10 rounds total (7 SAP and 3 HE)
The SAP only has 100mm of pen so shermans and KVs might be able to deflect your shots with their front armor especially if they can angle themself to increase the armor.
So what about it beeing an HE slinger?
Even here it will be kinda terrible as unlike the short gun the HE has less filler and then you still are limited to just 3 HE total so even if you can sit in the greyzone you almost instantly run out of ammo unless the enemy sniper can kill your first since this one doesnt even attempt to hide its crew.
And to make it perfect the long gun cant even turn on the spot unlike every other chi ha since the devs just remodled a car and not a tank…
So does anyone see a usecase for the new tank or is it just useless unless they change someting about it.
