Does teamkill by arty exists?

I noticed recently that the friendly arty doesn’t do damage at all to me. I remember being killed by friendly arty but now it seems it is not existing anymore. If this is a intended feature, please bring back team kill. It’s not because i want to troll team, but because

  1. It doesn’t feel correct you just running in the middle of artillery barrage.

  2. The best tactic is just spam arty on (open) point then you and your team can simply walk through while enemies are dying. This is like cringe old hallywood war movie.

Yep you can’t TK with arty and it makes it impossible for defenders to defend open areas when someone spams arty on thr objective while their teammates just walk through the arty like a god then cap the objective immediately after after everyone is whiped from the objective and friendlies don’t get a scratch from arty.

you use to be able to, but i don’t know if they actually removed it. however i do know that you can kill an aircraft with artillery

Yeah that’s a problem.
I think Gaijin knows about it, and tried to fix it with the long artillery cool down they implemented along with the constant artillery spamming that everyone was doing. Which, it helped, but like OP is eluding to it didn’t fix the issue.

they removed aoe damaged from friendly artillery b ut if you get bonked by a shell you’ll take damage and likely die

Yup, your arty wont damage your teammates, only you and your enemies are affected by it.
I did like it more when arty was dangerous for everyone and you couldnt just put it anywhere you want without thinking. The problem in that case was that your teammates were able to screw you by putting arty on the point or outright kill you just because “muahaha I’m a dickhead who likes to kill his own teammates”, the problem that still persists in LF it seems.
