Does suggestions section even get developers attention?

I’m honestly curious if suggestions even get anyone’s attention, or it’s just for the sake of feeling that you’re being listened to, since as far as I know it took like half of the forum population to convince to fix concussion system that caused everyone motion sickness…

why are there group of officers at my door

Probably not mate I’m questioning if its actually worth the time making detailed suggestions anymore.

Mean like 50% of the suggestions here are pointless nerf faction x threads and 30% are spam threads to remind the devs about the AI or fixing issues which partly exists since OBT. 10% are officer threads and maybe the remaining 10% are actual gold-rated stuff.
The fact that they don’t even read the bug-issue threads says a lot.

More than half of it is spam, so Imo the devs just gave up on it.

so is there really any way to shove information to the devs somehow?
stuff like comically dark rooms, crappy tank physics or beyond broken bipods, that you can only place if you’re blessed by 3 or more gods

Well. Ive heard they are more active on reddit for some reason.

the irony of a random platform getting more attention then game’s forum itself, tho yeah, suggestions can in fact be quite flooded

Yea but still they still need to at least look at the non spam threads.

careful the German mains might swat you

You mean these guys right ?

Yes they do listen but not a lot. I mean “not a lot” as “they don’t care about buff/nerf x topics that make 90% of all posts”.
In the Stalingrad patch, those things were sugested on the forum at least once:

  • movable AT guns
  • concusion from friendly explosions
  • stamina drain for MGs
  • bomber air raid
  • medics
  • limiting SF rifles (a bit but still)

Those I remember.

wait, you can move AT guns in Stalingrad?

It’s bugged as hell but it’s possible.
And imo it’s quite fun as long as you don’t get stuck on the molehill.

Seriously, why do other campaigns don’t have that, it’s so frusturating to not be able to move them, when you get blocked by some random rubble or other point is only 10 meters away

It was supposed to arrive in the Tunesia but it got delayed and got introduced in the Stalingrad instead.
But currently it’s barely usable. It needs a lot of tweaks.

I would agree that reddit is better because the community can upvote and downvote posts and comments, so pressing matters are always at the CM’s first glance.

Whereas here a post may get 100 replies and all of them are inside jokes about banned forum members and spicy memes like “skill issue”.

Also reddit looks way more populated with top posts of the week getting ~500 likes and here on the forums hottest threads get like 20.

i dont make suggestions anymore, seems pointless

only way to get the devs attention is to post in the news section right after they have released a devblog. and i kinda dont want to shill my idea for a campaign rework in a news post about rifle grenades, so ill just shut up and shitpost in the mess room instead

They do not care whatsoever unless the comments are in 中国人 or русский, chinese or russian. Which is ironically where 95% of all the cheaters come from.

that’s also my question.

Not worth picking through trash just to find something that’s possibly usable.
