Does anyone else find the number of explosions frustrating?

Between aerial bombardment, engineers, tanks, grenades, ect…, explosions in this game seem out of hand. I often find my squad almost wiped out before I have a chance to fire a shot.

Anyone else see this as an issue?

Sorry I meant radio operators, not engineers.

This was the case before, but now that the radio operators got nerfed, it’s pretty balanced, IMO.

It’s a WAR game after all. Explosions are common and normal in a war / frontline situation.

It’s annoying sometimes, hearing explosions all of the time without silence ever, but that’s the real deal.

Positioning, cover and concealment are important. Infantry are relatively fragile in this game, so you need to plan your movements, and take risks only when it’s worth it. Sometimes you’ll get blown up anyway, but it helps.

I agree - if you think about it, back then they couldn’t have that many artillery strikes at any given time. also the bombs are massively OP but hey ho.

It’s better than it was.
I think the next step is, like I keep shilling, adding a minimum prep time to grenades so you can instantly shit out 2 by mashing G

I know it’s better than it was but it’s still too frequent.

Played and started in Normandy but got fed up with the constant explosion that happens every map there its a mix cycle of Plane bomb>Arty player1>Plane crash>Mortar>Arty player2>Mortar>Plane bomb>Arty player3>Plane crash. now I play only in Moscow and Berlin and would visit Normandy only when Battles Task asks for it.
If I were to make some changes (my opinion only).

  1. I would put time gaps between artillery strikes. and have the Radio ops to be within view of the target clicking within view instead of a mini map.
  2. mortar bleh can live with it. got nerfed already.
  3. Planes I would make them a squad instead of single pilot put an airfield somewhere so the pilot can manually land and take-off and the rest of the squad can refill the plane or make plane bombing have team kill as with artillery strike.
  4. remove 5sec head shake or double vision whatever that is called from explosion and replace it with 1 second of blurred vision.
  5. Would put penalty points for plane suicide or auto eject at a certain altitude.

yes and we need to keep posting about it until it gets toned down.

I never knew there was an eject button lol… Many lives could have potentially been spared.

Planes in general are OP also, I mean seriously have they ever reviewed the majority of battles? It’s not boom boom boom boom from planes and artillery it’s historically inaccurate and a pain in the ass for people not looking for the protection of a steel tank or un-hittable aircraft

My issue is that explosion/gunfire noises are all at the same volume, so you can’t tell if they are near or far.

Never written “button”. Wrote “auto eject” at certain altitude. Lol

Only problem involving explosions right now is spammability of planes and tanks. If you shoot down an attack aircraft than they can just use their other squad. Same thing with tanks.

yup. reason why I quit normandy and moscow. Berlin the efficiency of planes and tanks have been reduced simply by the map.

I wont play either campaign till it’s fixed and if I get bored of Berlin I’ll probably take a hiatus from the game for awhile.

Had to go to Normandy for the Battlepass today and it was awful. JU88 and A20s just killing every single thing in the server over and over. all i heard was the same explosions going off over and over. boring.
