Recently I’ve noticed the one big roadblock keeping me from progressing is that I have absolutely no orders to get new soldiers out of logistics, but I have way too many bronze orders with no real use for them.
Is this an issue for anyone else or have I just been spending them too frequently? I personally wish there was some way I can exchange bronze orders for silver ones. I just run into silver soldiers orders way too infrequently, and I’m stuck with critically undermanned squads.
with premium and battlepass this isn’t a big issue.
This game need some money income if you want to spend time on it.
Nah, they nerfed the hell out of silver income.
Even with both premium subscriptions, because why have just one, you get them at a snail’s pace.
Campaign level progression outpaces silver income. Some weapons become obsolete before you can even buy them.
Edit: come to think of it, silver income wasn’t nerfed, but the spending power of bronze was.
You never needed silvers before, now it’s a requirement.
Equipment used to all cost bronze, and you could spend bronze to roll random guns or soldiers.
yeah sure it was fun rolling flame throwers and mortars with bronze.
Better than what we have now at any rate.
The equipment economy has gotten gradually worse because trogs keep complaining that they prefer slow progression over RNG.
Now you progress at speeds so slow they were previously only possible if you were extremely unlucky with your rolls all the time.
Quite opposite, I have more silver troop orders than I actually need.
I don’t mind progression being a bit slow but it just gets exhausting when I feel like I have to spend an entire night grinding just to play with a new squad or vehicle that I really enjoy. I don’t want to have to push through countless battles just so I can enjoy running around as a Panzerjaeger or whatever, and by the time I unlock what I want, I’m too exhausted of the game to actually play around with it.
You know what I mean?
Anyways, yeah. I’d feel like I’d be less bothered by the lack of silver income if bronze was more important. I have so much bronze because I have so little use for it. Why even bother upgrading weapons when rifles perform so well anyways? Shot deviation is barely even noticeable. I’m not sitting here excited for -20% shot deviation.
I’m swimming in silver troop orders but I could always use more silver weapon orders. Soldiers themselves only cost a single order no matter the tier and you only need to fill out a squad up to 9 times at the most and you always have a pool of spare riflemen to pick from if needed. I feel like the only people who say there aren’t enough silver troop orders are min-maxing idiots trying to get the ‘perfect’ amount of perk points.
Bronze is a hell of a lot more valuable to me than silver. As long as I refrain from frivolities like axes, pistols, and more than a handful of mines I never have trouble staying on top of my weapon silver.
I can’t relate. Once I bought 150 assaulter 3s just to scrap them for the bronze. I’m finally starting to dip under 100 because I’ve started buying large amounts of end-game soldiers so I can pick out ones with max stat rolls while scrapping the rest, so if I’m unlucky I might spend 30-40 silver just filling four soldier slots.
As a fp2 I laugh on my almost 900 silver order
