I have hundreds of hours in this game and have played all the armies. Yet, the USA IMO is the worse!
Before you say, I have a “skill issue”, I have no problem getting to the top of the leader board. I do well to carry a team, but can only do so much. And when I jump in a match as USSR or GER, the matches can go either way, some good and some bad. I feel like I have a fighting chance with them but not the USA.
Mostly, 9 out of 10 games as the USA on any BR level are absolute Hell! Usually due to:
- Weapons feel under powered
- Too many matches where the map design places you at a disadvantage
- Team does not build rallies
- Players sit in vehicles and don’t contribute to the objectives
- Players who rage quit
- Tanks that blow up as easy as Chinese firecrackers
I guess if Gaijin wrote the history of WW2, the USA and Britain would have LOST!

I have the worst w/l % with the Allies then the other three factions, although a lot of that depends on what BR level I play. BR1 or BR2 is a loss probably 3/4 of the time, but BR 3-5 it’s about 50/50.

Honestly Luvs2spooge has hit the nail on the head in saying BR 3 and up is 50/50 win loss. I Usually play BR 3 USA probably subconsciously because of this issue. It is likely IMHO that newbies play USA at BR 1&2 (I know I did & Germany too), but by the time you reach BR3 you likely have more game experience and or watched a few tutorials after being called a bad player. Another thing which I suspect is that people who play USA are more casual players (not a bad thing IMO games are meant to be fun) unlike a stereotypical Japan/USSR or even Germany main. Personally my worst W/L% is probably with USSR or Germany probably just because I have less hours on their equipment.
Basically, they would have lost anyway; I mean, it ultimately took four great powers to bring Germany to its knees…
I dunno, br3+ I have good success gaining victory 2/3 of the matches…
But it’s true br1 - 2 are populated by only newcomers it seems. It’s a shame as I like the weapons found there…
Br3 and over players suddenly become serious in allies, exception the occasional “everyone look at the cap being taken from the outside” match, but this happens in all factions…
Also in br3 +, weapons start being real good. BAR ppl in the face.
Tanks also. Sherman is the best br3 tank of the game (yep, even more so than KV1).
Airforce? The Grizzly still hasn’t been fixed and remains br3… so it cleans the zone.
Solid faction. My favourite.
