Personal, i felt like this was a missed opportunity to add in some new event squads. Or some new event weapons for germany/Italy and the British.

The possibility to pick rewards is very good.
Rewards are also faction themed, so we dont just randomly get a US or Japanese submachine or similar shenanigans, but there are some flaws, which were already pointed out in the news topic.

The devs are kinda stingy with only 3 orders while also having the BR 4 weapons take two orders to purchase.
If they add a fourth order or reduce the cost of BR 4 weapons to just to 1 order it would be almost perfect im my opinion.

Yeah, like how we’re limited on picking only one gun and the fact the 2 br 4 guns cost 2 cards instead of the one.

Mostly happy. I think the approach to weapon cost, and the limits on how much you can buy of each weapon, was a terrible mistake though.
The event art is fire.

Well there is nothing new thats the biggest problem we need Squads like the soviets 
Kinda silly how they manage to create one event format that is well recieved only to bring back the grind marathon events for the next one ignoring what the players like about the previous one.
My guess is that for the next event the devs will 100% default back to another copy paste marathon event (maybe even 30k score this time) instead of building on the improved formats they already had used.

Free weapons that you get to pick and is quick…very cool. Way less grindy than getting the ISU-152.
Do I wish they made a Monte Cassino map and campaign…DEFINITELY…I really hope they are working on that.

The tasks are easy to do. I just wish we had a bit more orders instead of 3 orders.
I definitely like the expanded arsenal of rewards with the ability to choose a weapon. This multiplies my chances of ever getting a Mauser M712 or a Type Hei/10. It even reminds me a bit of the good old Battle Pass store with Gold Orders. (We will never forgive the despicable murder of Gold Orders) However, I don’t like the decision to assign a cost of two cards to some rewards. Does the developer really believe that semi-automatic rifles on BR4 are meta and so OP, and should be limited in this way? I’m also incredibly annoyed by the rifle-killing tasks. The game just becomes an annoying unstopable camper cunts invasion.
At least it’s bolt and/or semi-auto (iirc), not specifically one or the other.
2 for BRIV weapons? What does that even accomplish? They are niche and BRIV is joke.
So are they just trying to push high BR stuff out of events? Hm. Not surprised.
So if i’m high br player and wanted both BRIV weapons im SOL. Oh you added another order? What if i’m mainly german player? Or US?
Forcing people to get multiple choices… idiotic.
Enforcing scarcity or rarity for these weapons is a joke… I am bored of using the tech tree weaponry.
If anything the extremely powerful lewis assault rifle should have costed 2 to buy.
They are only going to listen to feedback within the first few hours or day… even then why bother.

It feels pretty boring, it’s just recycling old weapons for another outdated event.
They could totally make a brand-new map centered around the monastery.
Ever since the ISU-152 made its return, only the Jagdtiger and ZIS-30 are still left without being brought back into the game.
I’m worried future events will just keep relying on old content like this.
What’s more, you can only exchange one weapon at a time this time, and you can’t swap them repeatedly at all.
I’ve been seeing this criticism a lot now, on this event and in general, and I have to say; I think it’s good that we get “recycled weapons” from time to time.

Devs are stingy, and rarely give out a lot of a new weapon during their introduction (sometimes just two, or less). Getting more of them to complete a squad is almost always nessesary.

New players welcome the chance to earn rewards they missed out on before.

Returning players should appreciate having more unique weapons to complete their line-up with.
New weapons and squads are - of course - always wanted, but getting more of things we already have is great, too.

As event squad, some para for the Axes, and some French or polish units for Allied (and/or decals for tanks )

They could always double the chances for weapons/squads/vehicles in the silver boxes. Considering how low the chances are of 1. Getting a weapon at all. 2. For a nation that you play. 3. At a BR that you play. 4. That you enjoy using.
