Today, Gaijin decided to release the independence day event to celebrate America sweet 250. And I want to know if you guys and gals like it.

No idea why we’re getting Gurkha knives for a US event of all things, there were so many better things that could have been given, like a random proto tank from WT would have been a lot more fitting.

Enough equipment… The m6 was recently issued, but it’s worth stopping for now…
I would understand some kind of unique weapon or character, well, maybe some kind of intermediate squad, but not a tank or an airplane, please

Well, I’ll take those appearance orders and those auto 1911s. Can’t have too many. But the knifes sucks. And like I said in the main post, I believe they should’ve done something biger sensed it’s American 250 anniversary

I just think the rewards they’re giving out are way too stingy. At least they put this event together this time, unlike last year’s event featuring the Berlin Meeting of the Western Allies and the Soviet Union—they ran it last year but skipped it entirely this year.
Back when rewards were the most generous, events would hand out Stinger machine guns. This time though, all we get is an automatic pistol plus two kukris that serve basically no practical purpose, which just feels really cheap on their part. Do they seriously expect us to shell out money opening crates just to get all those powerful weapons locked away inside them?

Does Anton even know there are melee-only servers in the game? These two blades serve no different purpose than the Soviet scout knive. In past events, knives at least come as squad rewards. Here we get two kukris, yet there’s no Kurdish squad to go with them.
This entire event’s total reward value is easily the worst we’ve seen, and that’s my biggest gripe. If you charge in with just this knife, the AI might club you to death with its gunstock before you even land a hit.

They give a sprint speed boost, that is most useful for everyone except dedicated campers.
