Do you enjoy playing WELL over your level and slaughter new players???
Why do you do this?
I’m allready thinking of quitting the game. Being spawn killed from afar by a tank who knows spawn points or by an squad with machineguns 10 secs after the start?
In my opinion it’s a GIGANTIC flaw in game design that allows veteran players to field fully equiped squads at a higher BR to fight against new players at BR1. It makes a lot of new players feel like you do and make them quit the game.
As to why they do it? You can’t really blame the players because it’s the game that allow them to fight against new players. I know that some players pick BR2 to get to fight aginst BR1 to get easy points for battle pass and a feeling of being superior I guess or lack skills to fight at higher BR’s. The same players often desert if they face BR3.
Solution?
Quit. You will be finding yourself in unfair matches on a daily basis and will be frustrated over players that have better gear (often storebought) and know the maps by heart and every trick to get an edge.
Or stay. Enlisted is actually a fun game to play after you’ve played for a while and gotten better gear, men, tactics and knowledge of the maps.
This is why we need +0- matchmaker. Most veterans wouldn’t play br 1 since it has very limited equipment leaving new players safe to learn the games mechanics and strategies
Well you can’t force them to play fairly, I’ve been trying for long and it ain’t going anywhere. Best option I can offer is to find squad mates. Go to discord or FB groups, or even try here in the Mess Room. You’ll find people who can help you out and make the game more manageable and fun, they can also share some tips and tricks.
Just don’t give in on skill-based weapons. Yes it takes time and effort and those sweats certainly make the SMG look perfect, but if you stay with Bolt, you’ll soon be able to beat those wannabe sweats to a pulp.
I would suggest getting to br3 as fast as you can to enjoy the games more but for those matches just leave it. If you see the whole enemy team with name decorators and your team has hardly any thats also another reason to leave if you have hardly any equipment upgraded and the game would put you in a match thats more enjoyable/relaxed.
Gotta stick around and learn the tactics. It is truly alot of strategy to the game. It is not an arcade shootem up game! It has taken me many months to understand how to counter spawn sitters. The thing I don’t understand is when players know they are going into a kill box but keep doing the same crap and expecting different results. Hang around and learn and soon you can spawn kill too!!! lol
Also, the game is much better with one or two associates that have been around a while, friend me and I will help you get going
In terms of enjoyment and progressing/unlocking things, this is a real problem. Honestly, I’ve done it, but it applies to both sides in matches. You could have at least 2 to 4 veterans on your team, and the rest will be new players or bots, although this is due to matchmaking. Added to that are players with premium squads and special event weapons, which inherently give a certain advantage over others. Veterans can carry the team, but it must be frustrating for the enemy team to be wiped out by enemy squads with 3-star machine guns and max-level soldiers with high perks. If you just want to enjoy the game, you can play custom matches. There, you can limit the number of real players, and you can still progress in the battle pass. The experience gained there is less, but at least it’s not as frustrating as being thrown into a random map against high-level enemies.
BR2-3 and 3-4 are the most enjoyable, to be honest. BR5 is really stressful, especially on the more open maps against belt-mounted machine guns with 100 rounds and jet spam. Tunisia is generally the best in this regard, in my opinion; it has a good atmosphere and scenery for short and medium-range combat, and it’s in BR2-3.
Some players are genuinely afraid of the jets, high power tanks and auto rifles… or more so they just don’t like playing against them which is totally fine.
I’ve seen it said many times people don’t like the fast paced gameplay… don’t take it too serious.
The worse thing is when those players choose to try and tilt the balance of said high tier… to try and shape it how they’d like to play it when the core of it will always be the same.
