I wonder, does the game model tank batteries and general energy management?
For example if my tank’s engine is destroyed, will my turret traverse slow down to manual speed after some time?
I recall warthunder had some mechanic conected with batteries but I’m not up to date.

Yup warthunder has batteries mechanic that do exactly as you suggest.
(When flat through damage or engine being off too long, turret rotation becomes manual)
Also you can turn off at will for stealth

But no battery module on Damage Model, lol.
Man, could we have working HE damage and adequate maps first please?

What does that have to do with batteries? It wasn’t even a suggestion to add the feature as much as a question if it was already in place.
Even as a suggestion, do you think they can only do one thing at a time, and that they’ll drop everything to implement batteries in tanks?
I think it would be a nice feature, especially if you could turn off your engine manually for the aforementioned stealthy reasons.

stealthy reasons
In sandbox, where tanks are always visible at 50m and always invivisble at 70+. Where nobody needs to orient by sounds. Noice
Since we don’t have drones to give us an overhead view of the battlefield, it’s not always possible to see tanks behind buildings or hills.
I’ve located tanks using their exhaust plumes and engine noise many times. I’m not even sure what your trying to say with that comment
