A mobile MG seems about it - one that has no armour and can’t take any casualties worth a damn…

I don’t know about regular bikes, but premium ones carry an engineer too.
Useful for rushing to quickly build a rally in a valuable position.

Yeah I got that one - but just got to the regular squad… checked the upgrade - it can get an engineer, arty, assaulter, lmg, AT gunner or sniper as crew… so looks like just crappy transport really

That sucks. I hope they get buffed… Because I DON’T want premium ones to be nerfed into uselessness instead.
Is it even possible for premium ones to be more useless?
The best they can do is some sort of mini-shocktroop role (with questionable results in terms of effectivity) or building spawn occasionaly. Complete waste of space unless you purchased more slots.
Early on I would always build a 1st spawn with them, then use the non-eng crew as assaulters… and if the enginer survived he could get another spawn… very ocasionally a MG post… but now - I don’t bother.

Pre-soldier changes, I just saw it as a squad to use to train up infantry for the academy, but now, it’s pretty useless.
It’s a shame, the premium squad is good because the engy gets an SMG, but the regular one is really underwhelming.
Engineers, machine gunners, AT gunners, and snipers all benefit a lot from high mobility.

Feels like a scam consider the engineer included in the squad and that you need Level 9 for the engineer squad.
Especially since the maps in Tunisia are awful without a engineer (AT cannon and beacon are even more crucial than in the other campaigns).
Good for flanking nothing else.
Personally, I think the premium bikes can be Highly effective as building the first rally spawn for the start of match and any time a new point is taken. Nothing crazy special, just faster than the other engineers who are on foot 
. Also, they are good for flanking lone armor on the hills that are camping. I got my guys loaded up with explosion packs so whatever tanks are camping are my prime target! Once these goals are accomplished, pretty much just use them as assaulters. if you trying using them as an MG nest, it is typically a matter of seconds before a sniper starts head shotting the crew
