I have heard some people say it does and some people say it doesn’t. I have even seen some people call mounting “bipoding” even when the gun doesn’t have a bipod. (which doesnt make sense) Anyway which one is it? Do the modleled bipods do anything or not?
Don’t know, but it does feel more accurate to use, atlest guns that do have a bipod. I know in BFV, the only way to use heavy machine guns effectively was to mount it and use it’s bipod
Mounting guns without a bipod feels like crap, like they disconnect every turn and it pisses me off

so basically the bipods do work and give better line of sight when you use them on windows compared to other guns that kinda clip the windows since they dont have bipods

They also do apply a noticeably greater recoil decrease when your guy is either prone or mounting the gun.

Usually when that happens its because youre standing on something or the ledge youre using the bipod is at a weird angle, higher up, or lower from where your gun is when youre aiming down sight. Also if youre to close to a wall it would push you off
