I disagree with the implementation of the upcoming USSR Premium Mortar squad with its AG-2 Grenade Launcher unique building. I don’t necessarily have an issue with an automatic grenade launcher itself (though I’m not sure any faction has their own to add to their arsenal), just how it’s to be added to the game. I do not think such a weapon should be given to the Mortar class
I have long suggested the Mortar squad’s unique building to be the 100mm Heavy Mortars. It’s common sense. The Mortar squad deserves Heavy Mortars as the Machine Gun squad Heavy MGs. It is more fitting and right for Mortar squads to receive these instead

UK: ML 4.2-inch Mortar, built by UK Mortar Squads
USSR: 120-PM-38 Mortar
Germany: Granatwerfer 42
Japan: Type 2 12 cm Mortar
The AG-2 Grenade Launcher should be shelved for now. Some have asked if there even is a need or point for such a gadget to be added to the game right now. There is a more fitting way for it to be implemented. Long have some suggested a new Grenadier Squad and Class that would receive our infantry grenade launchers instead of being carried by every single Riflemen. Automatic Grenade Launchers like the AG-2 would be more fitting as the unique building for such squads. Plus any other grenade launchers (if there are any) for the other factions
