Do I have to pay to have fun in Stalingrad?

a doubt that I have since I saw the new deblog. Do I have to buy the 30 euro package of Stalingrad to be able to use all the weapons and squads? or will this only be temporary and then unlocked for free players? if this is permanent and will be added to future campaigns, then we have a problem. The game would be becoming a pay to win, just look at the weapons that are locked for free players. They are the best weapons of the campaign! I don’t want to be like stupid going up level after level to get a damn mp 28… for some 30 euros will be little, but with that I can buy a mouse or a new 7.1 headphones. In addition, in my country the minimum wage is approximately 239 euros. You can’t afford to go around buying things from a video game… I like Enlisted, I’ve bought the annual premium account, but I don’t want to feel compelled to buy a bundle so I can enjoy the game to the fullest. I’ll see what happens, if not, I’ll just say goodbye to this game that I enjoy playing so much.

I’m afraid this is not temporary and players will need to buy to unlock things.

I feel the same way and posted about the same thing us poor paying players get screwed over a touch.
As a current paying player with premium and spending
little amounts but often-ish, I feel I support this game and no doubt, like all the other campaigns,

I would have most likely spent out on this too buying extra squad slots and the odd premium squad when on sale.

This update just prices me out. Even though I work
and I can afford it, I can’t justify spending £30 in a single hit.

We see loads of new players in this game and forum posts.
I’m gonna guess will may start to see “Pay to win” threads?
Does anyone know how many base squads the Free to players and paying premium players will get?

Maybe this is just me and my feelings but i’m unsure of this new pricing.

Final thought, disappointed but £30 better off

I mean you can have fun for free but what you consider fun is up to you. There are alot of good weapons and tanks locked behind the paywall which is essentially the carrot to get you to pay.

My suggestion to F2P? Play a different campaign. Everything is at the very least unlockable in them all be it very slow with out premium.

To me this campaign will be paid players very quickly climbing the ranks fighting F2P with the lower, slower unlocks. We will see how it all goes though

Level sixteen for the MP40? Christ on a cracker that’s high. And dammit I was really hoping that they wouldn’t do the trophy PPSh-41s as a leveled unlock, even if it’s paid. That really sucks

Yes its really odd with levels. MG34 is level 29 in Tunisia but level 11 here? Yet again the levels dont really add up across the campaigns

prety much

either way, stalingrad will be empty or full of high level squads fast vs same equipment level soldiers. if its the second, i m all in.

Yeah that is wacky as hell but, mostly I’m annoyed by the trophy guns being there. Paid players with 8x XP are going to be rocking those and if ftp players aren’t going to play, you’re going to wind up with both teams running those PPShs almost exclusively. Really bad decision imo. F for variety

I have a feeling it will be alot of bots honestly. I try to picture myself as F2P and that would be the last campaign I would try. Maybe I’m wrong, idk. Normandy or Berlin seems more attractive as a F2P

there is no point or nothing interesting as f2p player.

if i was one. i m sure i wouldnt waste my time in stalingrad.

but, still 4 campaigns a f2p player can waste hours on with hundreds of hours of possible fun/content.

Yeah I’m going to play but I doubt I’m going to put much effort into it given this list. That’s just unappealing as heck. The Danuvia M39 might be alright though, so that’s something. But I really was hoping that this would add variety not sap it by making the top tier stuff be from the other faction

Fully agree. I would play elsewhere. I will probably play Stalingrad F2P (with premium) and see what the teams are like myself. My fear is just bot teams regardless of equipment/unlocks

either way tho and to be fair, its exacly what the game is around all campaigns.
few guys with equipment or game knowlage destroying everyone + bot squads MM decided to trow in insted of real players.

a casual game with bot squads , nothing more.

Thats true however the difference is me paying more for just another set of bot teams. I see enough of them in all the campaigns. I guess I truly care more for the gameplay aspects then whatever maps or equipment we get

Yes, you will be able to have fun. If you like youre squads historical like me, then youre in luck.

Youll have most of the classic gear, such as K98ks, Mosins, PPD, MP40, MG34, DP27, BF109, YAK, PZ4F2, KV1, T70, PZIIIJ.

Radio squad, call in those bombers, medic squad, remote explosives

You will be immersed with these squads, and you will feel like in Stalingrad. Believe me historical squads are really fun and immersive to play with

IMHO…

Stalingrad is not worth for people who want to play different guns etc. Its basically a copy+paste of the weirdest guns in Moscow, Berlin and partly Normandy.

But if you want go for mid-war CQC and troll the Germans with the KV-1, its wise to spend 30 shekels, since PPSh etc. is locked. So yes.

I still do not get the complaints of people here. For 30 shekels you get full access, way easier grind and all squads/ stuff. Compare this to the fremium scam we have in the base campaigns. Are you THAT cheap to not spend 30 shekels for one of the best deals you can get from the snail?

best deals? They are literally forcing me to pay them so I can have full access to the best of the campaign. What’s that called? pay to win I think it was? excuse me for not wanting to throw away my money, but I and many other players don’t think we like pay to win.

No one is forcing you. This is not the KGB. You have four other campaigns to play. Like half of the stuff is copy+paste anyway and the T-34 will probably be on Moscow soon.

You guys are so dependet on the PPSh?

Good question

wtf? of course stupid, I will continue playing 4 campaigns where I already have everything unlocked with the same maps as always, do you think I am a new player? and what does the pshh have to do here? I am main German xD. I just want to try the new weapons without having to pay a stupid package.

“New”.
The tanks are “new” and the M39. The rest is copy paste.
