I have heard different stories and now we have air raids on all campaigns I think it would be good to know.
If I shoot down 3 bombers, 2 crash other limps off, does that mean that particular player’s air is now permanently crippled and will spawn with only 2 planes ongoing?
When do the bombers refresh as I’m sure I have shot down at least one every single time on Normandy, but again I see 5 planes, kinda taking the point away of shooting them?
Finally, when they are limping, leaking oil and fuel, do they autorepair next calling or do they crash?

As far as I am aware new Planes will spawn if called by the Player.

I read somewhere that the air raid would have less planes next time, but I think you right… let’s see if others got same ideas.

You can shoot down all of them and they reappear.
There is no restriction.
Tried it multiple times. They come back.

Hm, this could be an interesting twist to the airstrike mechanic… shooting them down weakens later bombing runs…
I think this is a great idea, it would kinda make sense too, most people shoot 1 / 2 down, so that player should have restricted air raid simple.
These bombers are now heavily weakened, just today I’ve shot down all 5 in 2 passes before they managed get close enough to the target, I was using Bf 109 F4/trop from Tunisia campaign (in Lone Fighters mode). You just need some cannon or some heavy MGs (12.7mm or similar) on an airplane to easily shoot them down (and some skill). Definitely easier than before the update.

Would much rather it be this way.
Kinda think should restrict it to a time period. Like 20 Minutes they are understaffed
Now nobody call bombers because they are too weak
