Dissapointment with event

i must say i am really dissapointed with event cause it gave me preview how devs have envisioned game should be played when both teams have full player count with premium accounts and endgame content. even without large grenade bag on every soldier it was constant HE spam hell (specially if you are on cap). even with reduced concussion effects i was concussed for good amount of time.

also want to mention utterly broken matchmaking that matched 10vs11-12-13 players, or even with join any team any campaign it stacked skilled players in one team so you often had roflstomps instead of even fights.

btw premium gives so much advantage and flexibility just by giving you those 2 extra slots… i knew it gave greater flexibility, but after experiencing it…

Yeah, I found it highly competitive. Very intense to the point it made me realize that larger capture areas would benefit the game experience.
Also random matchmaking makes random match experience but this happens on every single game with similar sistema.

As an event, I didn’t like having to play on campaigns I don’t like with factions I don’t like, which adds to the randomness of it.

And then in the end I get squadron upgrade on faction I don’t even intend to play, ever.
Is this a ninja marketing move to make us invest on new factions?

I meaaan maybe they test smthg for the future. You know events are not only for player amusement mostly

I enjoyed it. Not knowing what campaign your playing or factions made it fun.

for “even” fight event they could put similar strength teams with average battle rating they already had. also not to mention ffs how do you even have more than 10 players per team in “even” fight event. matchmaking algorithm needs overhaul.

it was marketing move, but mostly for advantages of premium content.

i am not so much disappointed in event, but more for the gameplay with premium endgame content when there is full pvp (not this half pve we normally play). there is disgustingly a lot of HE spam, specially when you have flexibility of having plane/tank/radio with other squads.
also i saw they were testing play any team any campaign that was requested by community, just they need better MM.

I felt like the abundance of HE was due to people not having ideal primary weapons and then compensating with the given explosives more than they typically would.

Normally most of my men have explosive packs which you want to save for when you need it to kill a tank. But if the game is going to give me a bunch of frag grenades then it’s a waste of they aren’t thrown

literally everyone had the same fighting chance and someone always find something to complain.

this just shows that you didnt read what i have written. i am not complaining about event, but about experience this game gives when it is fully populated on premium pvp endgame content (even with subpar loadouts). it becomes concussion simulator and not ww2 shooter. constant barrage of things that can concuss you while you are in building is staggering. specially when you can switch between plane, tanks, radio squad and then you include normal infantry with grenades. and to make matters worse even friendly HE spam gives you concussion (or at least shakes your screen).

ffs i had flashback to stalingrad update when it just came out (before nerfs to concussion). only thing that keeps this game somewhat sane in normal mode is that there are lots of bots that dont use tank/plane, f2p players that are limited in squad choices and somewhat lack of skill for number of players and not actual game mechanics.

But I did, ence why I started with buy premium or don’t no one cares.

And ofc f2p are limited, it’s their aproach to business.

You can still play, but with less options.

You want everything, you pay.

you read my post and what you got out of it was… buy premium and enjoy advantages or dont. and i want to say that game is terrible with premium and that every new premium is killing the game cause it just increases HE spam.

The event itself was amazing, something I’ve always asked for, but the core system of “grinding to OP stuff” is indeed flawed.

I’ve always played ‘level playing field’ games like Battlefield and never was a fan of MMO/grinders so this concept is really weird to me when a ‘veteran’ player can literally have a King Tiger, nine FG-42 soldiers, StG-44 on everyone else, 3 explosive packs on each soldier, sabers, vitality perks, recoil reduction perks, weapon damage upgrades, AP mine, AT mine and a flask… all that against a newcomer who has Mosins and no Engineers.
And no matchmaking.

No idea how the devs envisioned this being sustainable after 1-2-3 years when many people get to that endgame stuff and newcomers have the worst day of their life when they come to try the game:
