Hello everyone,
I would like to suggest a feature that would allow players to see the names of their teammates above their characters, either permanently, within a certain distance, or through an optional key that temporarily displays player names.
The main reason for this suggestion is to improve team coordination and make it easier to identify players who are intentionally trolling, griefing, or disrupting matches.
I decided to create this suggestion because of an experience I had today during a match. I was standing in a tower when another teammate repeatedly pushed my character until I fell. Situations like this can be frustrating, especially when they are done intentionally, but it can be difficult to identify the player responsible and submit an accurate report afterward.
Benefits of this feature:
- Makes it easier to identify players who are trolling or griefing.
- Improves the accuracy of player reports.
- Helps moderators receive more reliable reports.
- Encourages better behavior because players know they can be identified.
- Improves teamwork and communication.
- Allows players to recognize and cooperate with helpful teammates.
- Reduces confusion during large battles with many friendly soldiers.
- Creates a more accountable and fair multiplayer environment.
To avoid cluttering the screen, several solutions could be used:
- Names only appear when looking directly at a teammate.
- Names only appear within a certain distance.
- Players can enable or disable the feature in the settings.
- A dedicated key can temporarily display all nearby teammate names.
This suggestion is not intended to provide any gameplay advantage. Its purpose is to improve player accountability, teamwork, and the reporting system. Enlisted is a team-based game, and being able to identify teammates more easily would help create a better experience for everyone while discouraging disruptive behavior.
Thank you for reading and considering this suggestion.
