I like dispersion. SMG are made for close combat, not sniping through the entire map.

- Mg fire like a shotgun
- semi-auto if you move a little can miss 9 shoot on 10 and the tenth shoot do hitmarker
- the only good smg is the one with more bullet and fast fire
- even tank,plane,AT,AA have Dispersion
In real life machine guns can engage from further away than the maps or objective design allows.
As they are now, cutting dispersion across the board would make SMGs dominate again because there’s rarely room for MGs to breathe.
MG dispersion when on a bipod or prone needs to be cut, but otherwise it’s for the best.
I don’t care so much SMG dispersion, they are design for close combat.
But LMG dispersion is just a pain in the ass.
Yeah lmg dispersion is awful I try to hit someone outside of a 30 foot range and it just wont hit it takes 3-5 shots single fire to hit them its asinine.
Some LMG have also very poor hip fire.
Ik fact except the BAR they all behave like shit.
It’s a little absurd when you use the type 97 LMG and have to use the scope to kill somebody 10m away from you because the hip fire is so bad.
Oh yeah its because before you would just rambo around corners … but that wasn’t the gun fault it was the players complaining. Honestly I wish they’d at least make the gun more useful its ass until its on a bipod and can’t compete with a smg.
SMG now has a normal dispersion
But everything else doesn’t.
You can easily miss with semi-automatic rifles, machine guns, tanks, etc.
So in the end, smg the most pleasant balance.
This is much easier to do by restricting movement.
And not by making a water shlang out of a weapon (which seems to me much more accurate).
Not when the game has a thousand and one million bugs that prevent shooting. And crooked servers that don’t register hits well.
I thought a guy was hacking earlier because I hit him directly twice with the rmn 50 grenade launcher and he didnt even hit marker I then killed him with a different grenade launcher.

despite the fact that MGs were completely overpowered during closed beta, I still liked them being that way, because now I dont dare touching them because of insanely overdone dispersion.
There could have been other ways to balance weapons than giving them bad accuracy stats, standing in front of your enemy and missing your shots - even tho your sight are on target and the enemy is barely 10 meters away from you is extremely frustrating.
its pathetic I can EASILY outgun most lmgs in the game except mg 34/42 because of their fire rate with an smg they are a cake walk.
I have a question. Does the better weapon handling (a soldier stat) reduces dispersion and recoil ?
The game says that it only reduces the vertical recoil.
