I never ever want to see them remove historical battles and make it mixed like WT. I would be devastated and would likely stop playing if they made it so US could fight Russia or US and AXIS could fight japan or something. That would be the worst thing they could do to the game.

I think all of you misunderstood. He’s talking nations fighting together where they did. Italy fought in early Southern Russia and Stalingrad, so if an Italian tree comes separately later on they should be able to matchmake there with Germany. If/when Britain separates they should be able to group into games with the US where they fought together. Works when more maps and sub-factions are added, whatever. Not complicated at all, there shouldn’t be countries fighting where they weren’t
