Did you know that the reload time for the tiger 2 was reduced to 7.5 seconds from 8.5 before I told you?

Like seriously why is such a change not in the patch notes? The change was just one of many reload changes the happend in WT but wasnt yet transfered to Enlisted.
My findings so far:
tiger 2 reload from 8.5 to 7.5s
Ferdinant reload from 8.5s to 6.7s
Ho-ni 1/3 reload from 6s to 5s
Su76m reload from 6.9s to 5s
Marder H reload from 5.9s to 5s
Now to the real suggestion of this topic.
All changes including changes to reload times should be reflected in the official patchnotes.
I really is stupid that such changes are just sweept under the rug hoping people would not notice.
That’s interesting (as long as what you’re saying is true.)
Because reload speed is the most important stat when it comes to tanks. That’s why all those BR2 howitzer tanks are so good. And that’s why the IS-2, Super Pershing, and other similar tanks are so bad.
It’s much better to have a consistently fast rate of fire against infantry than a single powerful blast.
All of the changes were tested on the test server and compared the old version useing a stopwatch and no reload perk.
The tiger 2 and ferdinant change 100% also made it through so yes they are live.
This is done during every update… most likely to delay community outrage and with laziness and or improper communication between departments… us mains seeing tiger 2 buffed would have such a fit.
Likewise, they adjusted the german premium apcs mag capacity without notice… which is even worse as its premium… as people would complain… more than the one person who came out of nowhere with translated post to ruin everyone’s fun who bought it.
Not only that but that consistently fast 88mm HE shell also packs a hell of a wallop in and of itself, it ain’t some 37mm peashooter.
Seriously though, if this reload buff claim is true then this is absolutely absurd. The Kingtiger is already the best tank at BR5, it did not need another handout.
Are you saying that a reload speed of 8.5 seconds is too slow to be historically accurate for the King Tiger or something?
As a sidenote/elaboration, humans aren’t automations with exact perfect timings, all manually loaded tanks are only going to have a rough range/average for their listed reload speed instead of a single exact number. Even if we do have historical records that the KT’s main gun can be reloaded in 7.5 seconds, 8.5 seconds isn’t such a massively longer timespan that it would be a historically inauthentic representation of the tank. Reload speeds for manually loaded guns is one of the things where you can have much more leeway to mess with the numbers for balancing.
Never
And if it does, it’s worth improving to 17 +16 seconds in the top configuration, without taking into account the crew perk.
Then it will be more lively to play, and against the background of the isu-152 it will be faster to fire.
