Did they remove aircraft repairs on CVs?

i just landed on a japanese carrier to repair my plane and nothing happened, i havent played in 1-2 years so the last thing i remember was you used to get repaired in couple seconds after landing, this time nothing happened and there was no feedback, then left my plane and it was just poof gone

one thing i learned from this was CVs are not out of bounds and you can walk around

Only planes that starts from a carrier can repair on a carrier.

So for instance if you land on a carrier with a Spitfire nothing will happen as the Spitfire does not start from a carrier.

However if you use a AP-1 (Avenger) it starts from a carrier and can thus be repaired.
