I used to see a lot of players buying Jagdpanther and MG45 in Berlin, but very few people buying SU100

I’d love to see the data you have to support this… especially for Germans.
If German players aren’t spending money it’s because they can crush people without doing so.
My estimation is that you’re making this up entirely and it’s based on nothing but the estimation of you and your 1.32 friends.
When you look at the Soviet and allies the premium squad options they have are game changing things but when you look at the Germans and Japanese their weapons they should have had or slight improvements than what they already have
