Anyone who played the Airborne event knows how poorly designed it was. Now with “Britain vs Italy” coming in late October, we expect the same frustrating patterns: historically accurate gear but broken squad balance, restricted vehicles, missing equipment like TNT and ammo pouches, and absurd universal medical kits.
DF’s preset gameplay remains terrible. Despite repeated feedback, they keep treating us as lab rats—forcing us to test their poorly conceived designs without making meaningful improvements. It’s utterly disheartening.
It’s definitely speculation, but given that we’ve been playing this game for so long, the characteristic of DF constantly being delayed is already widely known. It’s not uncommon for an event that was supposed to happen in the middle of the month to be postponed to the latter part of the month. Saying this won’t worry about being criticized by the “boomerang” when it comes back.
Well tbh the map has been reworked a lot with the last update, it’s quite good now I would say.
Yes I am confident that these are a British MG squad and an Italian tank squad : there are no icons for either the M14 or the Lewis. Same for the US para last time, we had MkB symbols but no Thompson one.
Also the symbol is reminiscent of Italian cavalry regiments (ie tanks) of ww2 :

THe ProblEM is DF has No fcking clue how to play their own Game and make SHIT Premade groups, all kinda haphazard trash all over
I find it hilarious that the usual naysayers on this forum, Enlisted is dead AM has taken our devs, has now changed to a future event, yes there are some leaks (unfortunately) now saying DF has lost it vision.
I personally enjoyed the Market Garden event it made you adapt your playstyle, you had to think about rally deployment, tanks were not op and could not greyzone. On the right map and perhaps a few more points and gameplay tweaks, that would be a nice change. I am sure there would be a Crete version for German Paras too…
My point is we don’t know what the squads loadouts will be in final event, I for one think last loadouts in MG event were hands down more authentic and we even had APs for rallies!
So cmon give the devs a chance on this “dead game” with “no direction”
No, fuck them. We just get major event and major event with event battle passes because the normal battle pass is not enough. We need to consoom more because otherwise they dont get enough money.
Also these events are not hard to make. Soviet vs. Japan was templates on unchanged Pacific maps and Market Garden was pretty much the same, saved for AI plane spam causing horrible lags and being utterly broken and unplayable to play. It is just recycled shit modders could do in less time and with better quality.
Even last April’s Fools was more creative than the last two major events.
And to clarify again, Operation Market Garden sucked.
And events do not distract from the poor state of the game, and that we got like five new guns and vehicles every quartal while many old bugs continue to exist.
