As the title says, I have gone into Enlisted and used my super-secret totally not windows paint tools to overhaul the custom options you can mess with in the CM’s. Now instead of just a mere weakling bot count of 12, we now have 20+! This change totally fixed the CM’s and I’ll now accept payment via PayPal or free premium DF. You can thank me later

Yes totally agree! I’m glad they’re back at least for those who enjoy the mode. But even for squads, it’d be great if they could return the 20 max bot count. That count just felt great imo. But for what we have atm, I think this is a good step 
20 Bots maximum, they’ve already nerfed XP gain so they should give all of the bots back to us.
Buuuuuut they also shot themselves in the foot with their own XP rules that they set 
bc with the more people you get in your CM(Custom Match), the less that the XP reduction becomes. So you can effectively get the same XP gain from before I believe, as long as you get enough humans in your match to negate the reduction. Just saying, an overall XP cap per match would’ve gone over waaaay better and would’ve had less avenues for exploiting per match.
I don’t really care what they do with the XP thing, honestly. I’d just like to host private matches with my friends and do PvE for fun.
Yeah same man. Like on the one hand tho, I don’t like it when people overly exploit the system. Buuuuut considering how grindy the game is, I don’t mind if they want to use this system to gain these larger amounts of XP. With the grindy hell I’ve been thru, I’d say go for it. I don’t want anyone to get as frustrated as I have in my time trying to grind these huge ass XP bars in the standard mode 
But yes the PVE matches were just fun man. I loved playing some hardcore squads with the 20 player bot count enabled. I did this on Berlin and it was such a cool experience. Something that a mere 12 player bot count cannot capture and that’s sad mainly considering the fact that the devs probably won’t bump up this counter again anytime soon. So I won’t be playing this mode much anytime soon either sadly
Yep the XP reduction is a thing. But the thing is that with the way the devs implemented their version of the XP reduction, there’s still room to exploit as long as you have enough players in a match. Since the XP reduction is based on the amount of players in the match. So the more players you have, the less the reduction is. Eventually you could just negate the reduction entirenly I believe. So it’s basically the same system, just with a few more steps
As I’ve said tho, an overall XP cap would’ve been much better tbh. Even tho to be quite frank, idgaf about the high XP numbers all that much and just want my fun large battle custom matches back ;-;

i just wished to have at least the option to remove the limit per side of players needed or block entire one side so that i could make pve matches with friends or randoms.
wasn’t that so hard to put a cap of an ammount of experience so that you couldn’t gain more than normal xp matches… ( or maybe a bit less around 15k or whatever )

Yeeahhh honestly a lot of the custom game options feel very limited or underdeveloped. I do like a good amount of the options we do have tho don’t get me wrong. But I do agree with you in that it’d be better if it was more fleshed out and had more of these kinds of options we’d like. Especially the option to go full PvE as you stated. Now that shit would be pretty cool ngl!

Well the problem from now on is, can it be abused by “farmers”.
The option to block one entire side: “farmers” paradise.
It is sad
It is sad indeed like I can see this mode as actually being pretty fun if the people on your team aren’t trying to exploit it and are just having fun. But with this whole F2P model and with the way the devs are going about progression and XP gain, we sadly always have to consider grinders and farmers. Smh it just ruins the game as a whole tho and I wish we didn’t have to worry about these artificial aspects of the playerbase/the game
Agreed, I mean while custom games are fun I try not to “waste” time.
So instead of playing custom games and having fun I play Normandy as Axis, using mostly planes, FG 42 and MP 43/1 for high score = many bronze orders.
And in-between I play Berlin to level up the campaign level.
So no time for “fun” as I want to progress as fast as possible.
And even if I am max level, I probably still play games where I get max “profit”.
Maybe if I completed all campaigns, got all soldiers to five stars and all weapons to max stars, I will play custom battles ^^.
