So outside of maybe separating BR I away from everyone else to give the newbies their own little safe space, please Darkflow I beg you to never change the BR system. This is literally the best possible outcome of implementing one. Don’t mess it up just cause some people decide to play BR III when they really should stick to II

Apparently DF eventually adopted the concept. And since they adopted it, they should implement it well too.
The fact that you want deliberately unbalanced matches more or less means nothing anymore. Because literally the main aspect of the BR system is balance. Deal with it.
I myself wanted a preferred map system, as it could be used for better immersion. But DF wouldn’t have been able or willing to implement it properly anyway.
Nothing is stopping you from playing BR 2 stuff in BR 5 if they expanded matchmaking. Matchmaking needs to be fixed.
I just watched the replay of these 2 matches.
Lol the only player that really have high BR is the top1 on the Axis team.
Others are either br3 or have 1 gold order weapon to boost the br to br5. There is also a t34-85 d5t which is the default unlock from Berlin.
Similar situation but a bit better, but still no STG44, FG42II, M2 carbine.
So both of your match means nothing since most of those player’s weapon are bad.
I prefered map system.
But BR was chosen…so it should be completed properly.

The fact that I’m not advocating to ruin this game by removing one of it’s best features, which is the sheer variety of equipment in every match. Something that will entirely and 100% cease to exist if DF did ±1 or 1-2, 3-4, 5 BR’s

Look, there’s just all these people whining and complaining “Oh BR I can’t do jack against III” and “But why does III have to fight V? It’s so unfair!” And here’s my proof that those complaints are an utter load of bullcrap. The skill of the individual is significantly more important than the BR of the equipment. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, 9mm out of a pistol and .50 BMG out of an M2 will both kill a man dead

Yes, that’s the literally the problem here. If similarly skilled players end up in match. The one with higher BR equipment has obvious and unfair advantage.
Thus, skill no longer plays any significant role.
And I don’t see any difference in farming casuals that do have 2BR lower or higher equipment. They do nothing in exactly the same way.

You learn something as basic as the fact that “a higher sample size will be better representative of the population and will hence provide more accurate results” at around middle school.
Not necessarily. Full Auto’s tend to be less reliable at range. While Semi’s and Bolties excel at range. I don’t ever see anyone switching a Full to Semi either. Course close range that auto’s gonna just dump lead until the deed is done. So even at “even skill” there’s still variables that can give one an advantage over the other
I’m fairly certain that matches were supposed to be mostly I and II with a little III, and IV-V being the same. Sometimes III was the big dog, sometimes they may or may not get their face stomped in. With III being a transitional period from early matches to late matches
But, what has happened is a bunch of idiots who can’t play the game decide to abuse the lack of punishment for deserters to try and constantly curb stomp I’s and II’s. Bet they barely get anything doing that anyways. Probably the kind of people that only get 50-70 kills gray zone camping
The thing is that I don’t see any enjoyment in fighting the same dang thing over and over again every match. And that’s what people are advocating for! Complete and utter monotony. I don’t want to just fight Gewher’s and Pz IV’s over and over again. Or just FG 42’s and Tiger’s over and over again. Or just Carcano’s and Italian garbage over and over again. The fact I can fight all or even just most of these without changing any of my stuff is great! It’s such variety, and I get to fight against people who prefer some BR’s over another. I can fight vets who prefer II and vets who prefer V
Oh sorry that it takes forever to get proper III-V matches with how few Krauts actually wanna try to do anything

Anyone who doesnt want to admit the truth (and 99% of all players do understand the problem), is invited to play br2 against me and enjoy some KV1-T34 pounding & grenade launchers for good measure.
Do not forget that most veterans do have even better version of T-34.
In fact, you can use both STZs in one lineup if you own them.
