Devs please add audible gear rusting sounds and louder footsteps

My sound devices are more than enough for a good experience. There’s little to no way I can detect if enemies are around me besides my field of vision, which isn’t too good at a measly capped 90° FOV.

It’s getting bloody ridiculous, honestly. I’ve had situations where more than 6-8 enemies were running around in the same building I was in, but of course I had absolutely no way of hearing them until they started stabbing me to death. Keep in mind that I have all my volume sliders at the max, and I have also experimented with lowering the Ambience volume down to 0. The lack of noise soldiers produce while moving around isn’t just a problem in Enlisted, it still persists in Cuisine Royale too.

I sincerely want the best for Enlisted and Cuisine, but footstep sounds and overall sound directionality need to be drastically improved.

I agree with this 100%. I need to hear footsteps to to know if there is an enemy in the same floor or in an upper floor.

I always get stabbed too. :frowning:

I sometimes hear them because I altered my audio levels specifically to hear footsteps, but it’s still not enough.

Could you elaborate on how you altered your audio levels?

Engine sounds, speech and walking are all under the second last slider. This does mean you go deaf when playing planes, but in all honesty, who plays planes?
