are you using it semi auto since i don’t really have issues with the iron sights, my main issue with it is that when fully starred it does less damage than a full starred grease gun
Its a wonderful gun, however it does take some time to get used to.
It is best to have it at least at a star level 5 for the reduced recoil which makes seeing easier. Pair that with the reduced vertical recoil perk, and it’s a monster on the field.
but even than, it’s not said it will ever going to be fixed.
because devs has shown that they far often look at stats and performance instead of feedbacks.
in this rare occasions, it’s one of those weapons that are meant to be used in hip fire.
it’s sad to say this, but we must adapt to the truth and realize it.
I don’t play Normandy so I can’t advance much.
But I suppose the m2 should be used full auto only while hipfiring, like Erika said, pretty much like the Avs for the soviets or the fg for germany. I love the Avs, it has a bit bigger magazine and works very similarly to the svt while using semi auto. But the full auto is quite nice when “Hurraaaaaa ing” inside a building. I guess it’s the same with the m2. Just an additional feature (full auto) useful in certain situations.
It is a short range gun PRIMARILY its NOT an M1 Garand. Its great because units that cannot carry a submachine gun can carry it at short range ya can unload on someone from the hip its great ???
Your choices are it or a bolt action rifle … or perhaps the M1 Garand … compared to a bolt action rifle its great option …
You may consider upgrading your riflemen with the secondary weapon slot instead of the backpack, and equipping them with both Garand and M2 to be most effective at any range; anyway I’d still pick the backpack.
