i got a new squad from the chest and it’s a duplicate, is this good thing or bad thing? are we allowed have duplicate squad?

It isn’t a duplicate.
One is the old 115th Regiment, while the other is Company A.
Company A is a much newer squad. It was released during the first release on Steam.
The old squad doesn’t have a premium engineer, while the new one does.
Same story with two Beretta M1918 premium squads. One is an older premium squad without a premium engineer from Moscow, while the other is a newer one released during the first Steam release and does include a premium engineer.

Btw. They chose to put only the newer ones into box. I don’t own the old Beretta squad, yet I don’t see it in box. I own only the newer one.

Yep. It’s not a bug. Just the remnant of their strange past decisions. They have never done anything like that since then.
