So currently if you leave the match you get a “DESERTER” status which gives you no XP for the match. The issue with this is, if you run out of squads you are forced to sit in a match and do nothing until it ends. This is absolutely ridiculous. Please remove this feature when you have no more reinforcements ASAP!

If you run out of ur squad spawn, you have to observer the match until its end.
So it is likely to AFK, and the system will kick you off cause you are AFK

Running out of squads happens if you die 10 times in domination, meaning you played very poorly if the match isnt close to ending, in which case you would have obtained very little XP anyways, so you don’t lose out that much
in invasion/assault, if your team runs out of spawns, a 1 minute countdown starts, after which the match ends, so no long waits there.

Ive died 10 times in the domination mode with half the teams tickets left while being in first place on the team. Sure it wasnt my best match, but everyone was just spawn camping. Plus, I made the mistake of using my plane twice and crashing early.
i left mid-game bc of that and then went to eat something (to be afk in the lobby) when i came back there was XP for me - you get your XP after match ends
Yes but if you leave because you want to go play another match because you cant do anything you get no XP
It rightfully punishes the players that throw matches, so imo it’s fine as it is.
if you cant do anything, consider changing your strategy
Deserter penalty for leaving game is JOKE.
So many people quit even on games where team is winning penalty for leaving should be bigger or with time penalty to queue again in other battle.
