i was checking the fan-made wiki and found that there were three squads that were deleted from game and now i’m curious, does anyone have any idea about any of what the guardsman or the commander did (there is also a shotgunner squad but what that one does seems a bit obvious)

Guardsmen was a redundant Assaulter squad from the Berlin Closed Beta in 2020.
Shotgunners is a similar thing but removed from Normandy Closed Beta in 2021.
Commanders were never implemented but remnants of its code was found datamining.
