Delayed Ticket Bleed for Attacker Team

One of the most boring experiences in the game is if you’re playing defender and the attacker team is much worse than your team and camping as snipers and the like on top of that. Nothing happens in such games and they take ages, since no one dies.

My suggestion to prevent that would be to introduce a ticket bleed that happens if an attacker team isn’t able to cap a point for a long time. If they cap a point this timer is reset. The ticket bleed starts slow, but increases fast to encourage the team to start pushing. A regular game over timer, that is way shorter than the one you have for the whole game might work too, but I think would feel a bit worse.

this sounds great
Reduce jail time

Or make the greyzone expand if attacker doesnt attack the zone. That way it would be easier to combat the sniper and greyzone tanks

They can use building cover and smoke to complete the invasion
Even when they land, they have enough blind spot protection.
Rather than using unfair methods for the defender to increase their protective distance

I dont understand what you are trying to say

I mean I wish they were, but this isn’t about adding unfair methods to help the defenders. This is to prevent the game from not progressing for long amounts of time, cause the attacker team decides to not attack.

I do have this happen occasionally and there is nothing I can do about this as the defender. I just have to wait for like half an hour or more till the few people that actually try to push reduce their ticket number to 0 or the very long match timer fully runs out.

The ticket bleed I am describing here shouldn’t come into effect in normal matches. The time till it triggers should be high enough for that, but it should be a bit lower than the full match timer, so that you aren’t stuck in the most boring match for a long amount of time.

Just report for each map that cause problem because this suggestion is irrelevant.

It can happen on every map. It is the composition of the teams that causes this problem not the map itself. Sometimes the attacker team is just filled with either far less skilled people than the defenders or people that decide to camp as snipers, rather than pushing.
