Decrease Campaign XP Lvls Or Something

In normandy for example from 24 to 40 every lvl is 180 000 xp
In berlin 24 -39 180 000 xp
Comeon, max XP should be last 5-4 campaign lvls not more : ))
When we calculated moscow, normandy, berlin, tunisia campaign grind time was, between 6 to 9 month from 1 to 24 lvls : ) now i dont know 2 year? need 1.5 to 2 year i think to finish

I’d like that, but the objective of the game is to make you frustrated about that and make you spend on premium time, premium squads with xp boost, or even buy the level themselves.

So high lvl players push new players to buy premiums and devs push people to delete the game. Its too much

Ok, I’ll suggest that above level 30 it’ll be higher, let’s say 200000xp until 35, then 250000 until 40.

No, once high tier is reached, it’ll stick with a certain XP gain. But let’s wait the new Meta and how the progression will be.

anyway, “memes” aside,

campaign xp points cap isn’t really an issue when the merge will released.

because, the only problem that rises with it, are just current ones with stomp campaigns and you happen to be on the constant loosing side.

for example, tunisia axis.

i do recognize the struggle and how long the whole spiral of low xp, quick matches ( = next to 0 xps ) and each levels past level 20 requiring 164k xps.

i really do ( effing bike it’s getting eternal to unlock )

but this won’t really be present in the near future.

also, i would like to remind, that, the grind is somewhat what keeps people playing.
not really a bad, nor a good thing. ( depending from the point of view )

this way, you would just end up having players with full gear of their faction and stop playing until next update ( which somewhat happens already ).

as, one of the issues in enlisted, is player retention once finished a campaign.

personally, not a problem for me, since i can just enjoy and relax onto customs, make mods and what not.

but this does not apply to many people ( which you can see complains on the forum )

I’ve been playing for 3 years consistently and still haven’t maxed the entire game yet. (Obviously new levels get added but there has never been a time for me when I’ve had everything unlocked)

Tunisia - Max both sides

Pacific - Max Japan, M1 Thompson left for US

Berlin - Max Axis, Last 4 levels left for Soviets

Normandy - Panther G left for Axis, Last Sherman left for US

Stalingrad - Max both sides

Moscow - Soviets level 26, Axis level 28 or 29

Grind is ok because it keeps you playing but at the same time the player count imbalance for factions makes it hell.

I play since September 2022 and I have maxed all campaigns except Tunisia Axis and Pacific.

They promised two new campaigns this year, but still - give nothing.

What I will do without the grind, uninstall the game ? :ghost:

I have grinded level 40 normandy axis and level 10-15 in other campaigns and i have never even thought of spending money in this game. It took over 2 years and it would have been faster with premium but im proud still

You can just enjoy playing the game. I don’t care about any grind

Do some players really have this mentality. I’ve never felt that I must pay to play or enjoy the game. I don’t even get frustrated when dealing with SuperN00bDestroyer420xDs. I just enjoy the game no matter what

Is not 160k… is 180k after level 24 boi

And yes grinding past level 12 is just pure pain specially in Campaigns that you can’t get 10k exp average as F2P

Well having 12+ levels for 180k is stupid but thank god that those are capped at 180k.
The first 180k used to be max level but more and more levels were added over time.
I am not sure but adjusting exp cost retroactivly might have been impossble/not feasable with spaghetti codeing nor needed as at the time just grinding the 4 new levels each update wasnt to bad even with 180k each but suck for everyone who came in only later.

Personally I think exp per level is ok.
The real problem is that I have to unlock things I’m completelly not interested in.

Hopefully this will change with the implementation of the tech tree asparagus.

At this point, I see no fair or realistic way to reduce the grind before the “meta” change / merge.

I’ve maxed all campaigns and both factions except aout 100kxp on Berlin Allies I may not bother with since the last update.

It would be somewhat annoying for others to simply have easier access to unlock everything. I wouldn’t dwell on it though… just not a clear winner of a choice in my mind.

When the game only has ~20 levels per faction

It wasnt a great deal.
And as a game itself, it need something to make “veterans” feels their progression worth the grind. Also attracting new players keep playing.
Though Warthunder is a clear failure in terms of making progression looks attractive to grind. Too long grind scares new players away. (Same for future Enlisted)

Actually, campaign levels arent the hardest part of the game.
It’s squad progression. Some squads alone needs tens of thousands of XP per level, and a squad can easily have 20~40 levels.

Though, after the merge, it may make progression even more desperately long for new players. Just no more repeated grind (like Normandy Panther G).
