I think you should delete this option taht kills you when you leave the map
I had the game when I was defending objectives
We lost objective point and map moved backward cause we lost objective but it was like 15 people in a “grey” area at map (after loosing objective)
We could give there a good fight, good defending even we lost objective… but because of loosing objective and moving map about 15 persons died due to being OUTSIDE the map that moved after loosing Objective…
IT was SO SO dissapointing I know we lost objective but we could give a good fight there but map killed us. It was so sad to experience that this something killed us and we didnt have fight there
I think there should be no limits at map or something way less restrict cause it ruin your game experience
Its same problem when you play sniper and you want to flank enemy, you reach end of the map at your safe spot and your enemy is coming from from the end of the map making IMPOSIBLE for sniper to flank and It makes you HAVE to play as sniper in the middle of the storm but its natural as sniper you want to be outside of that mess and you looking for flank that is unavanable due to map limitatnions
You lost the objective, and should have pulled back. Camping behind enemy lines looking for some cheap kills is not doing anything to assist your team.
so its going to be next COD or enemy terytory okay… I thought is going to be a battle experience not a next bloodbath game with unattractive objectives and framing … potential is great but your narrow minds ruined it but eta rasija
Well, majority players seem to play Enlisted like they play COD just run and gun and camp with sniper and inogre objectives! Mostlikely will also drive most players away that dislike COD playstyle!
If someone wants to camp behind enemy lines, doing nothing meaningful for the team, then they are welcome to play other games where those sort of shenanigans are encouraged. This isn’t the place for it.
I have to agree with Zenith on this one, Running and gunning has its place if you’re running and gunning to and around an objective, sniping too is contributing to the team if its intercepting enemy reinforcements to the objective or softening it. I love making engineer fortifications but there’s no meaning to holding out on lost ground because the enemy will just bypass a static defence and take the objective behind you. When the objective is lost, the best resistance is a fighting withdrawal to slow their advance, not holing up in a house they can just go around.
That said player choice is nice to keep things fresh and provide new ways to approach or cover an objective, and wider map borders would be much appreciated.
I am not adverse to bigger maps, just pointless camping when you have already lost the objective. I have seen entire teams do this, and the enemy just takes the next objective, and the next. It’s frustrating!
There is the same problem with my Panther tank getting destroyed when I went backwards in the map too much. I didn’t go all the way into enemy lines, it went too far back into my own lines. and we lost the battle only by a little bit just because that tank was gone and the Russians fought too hard (at least I still got Battle Hero so I didn’t lose any rating points). It is extremely stupid to kill soldiers when they get out of the area, even if I go too far back because there are a lot of obstacles in my way (they think that’s desertion lol), they should just teleport the soldiers to the nearest spawn point or something. And speaking of spawn points, spawn protection should also apply on those soldiers spawned at a rally point too, not just spawn protection on soldiers that spawn at a normal spawn point, because I hate my entire squad wiped out as soon as I spawn.
