There are currently 6 “campaigns” where each soldier needs dressed for each. Having to purchase cosmetics for every soldier potentially up to 6 different times is extreme and unenjoyable.
The solution I propose is that every soldier and vehicle should have a cosmetic preset for “regular” “desert” and “winter” cosmetics. This would significantly reduce the amount of cosmetics each player needs to spend for an individual soldier.
This would improve player satisfaction greatly by reducing the money needed. It is not enjoyable being required to buy the same coat three different times for a German soldier if you want to use him in Moscow, Stalingrad, and Ardennes.
The longer this problem goes unaddressed, the worse it will become when more “campaigns” get added!
I dont know how it works for you all, but for me atleast outfits do transfer even though its not visible in the editor. Like Stalingrad outfits for Axis I bought do appear in the Battle of the Bulge, and Berlin clothes do appear in Normandy. In case I buy a specific outfit for that one certain campaign it just “overwrites” the clothes from other campaigns too
the problem is not only this but also that it does not store the cosmetics you have applied for certain in-game campaigns, it mixes them as it seems, a mockery for the total consumer
Yeah, that’s the worst, you spend dozens of AO’s on making your soldiers look cool for the map, just for the game to throw on random customizations ruining any sense of theme you had going.
I would prefer that the cosmetic cards were used for the vehicles, if I want to put something in my tank I have to pay gold but the infantry can get it easily. (it seems a bit unfair and arbitrary to me)
The whole thing is a hot mess right now. I’m a new player, so I don’t know hot it worked before the merge, but it’s obvious that nobody actually thought this through or engaged with the system prior to releasing it. This is my biggest gripe at the moment apart from the abysmal silver gains.
It is ridiculous to expect the player to buy the exact same cosmetic items dozens, or sometime hundreds of times for different theaters of war.
