This post will include my Day One thoughts as well as a few suggestions.
Today is the first day I’ve played Enlisted (I did one match in April but that didn’t really count). I have to say that I am very impressed by this game. I have played a couple of other WW2 FPS games such as Heroes&Generals, Battlefield V and Hell Let Loose and Enlisted feels… different. I like the system in which your squad pushes with you and the ability to spawn as one of your own squad members. However, this sometimes results in a bunch of free kills xD. The image below is the result of me spraying entire squads down with MG fire and BA-11 shells.
In my opinion, I think that the squad members should be spaced out further from one another. Sometimes when I am attempting to strafe, my own squad mates get in the way and I am unable to achieve my desired movement. By spacing out squad mates, this will grant us more room to move around and also reduce the free multi grenade kills. Sometimes, when I attempt to jump out of windows, my character gets stuck in the window and I glitch up and down. The only way to get out is by crounching and walking out. I hope that vaulting mechanics will be implemented properly to windows. Also, when I was driving my BA-11, my entire screen turned red and after browsing through the forums, I found out the cause is molotovs being thrown at your vehicle and I think this needs to be fixed. The grind is also pretty long. I do understand that this is because Enlisted is a free-to-play game and there needs to be a long grind but I would like to know if there is a way to fast unlock levels in the campaign, through an in-game currency.
This concludes what I observed from my first day in Enlisted. I think that this is an amazing game with great graphics and potential and I can’t wait for new content to be released.
