Dark areas (aka maps fringes) are way too restrictives.
Sometimes they block you along a loooong open road you can easily be sniped on (no, you won’t get into that building to find shelter)
Sometimes they’re so close to capture areas you can hardly approach them unless you’re following the way you’re supposed to (no, you won’t avoid the artillery/grenades/flames/you name it area, by using an alternative way. You’re supposed to die there).
Sometimes they just stop right next to a building where an army of snipers is hammering you (no, you won’t get into the place to deal with those shooting ranges afficionados).
What’s worse is that some gamers seem to know the enemy team dark areas and settle at the very edge of it with a tank. Which makes them almost undestroyable. Maybe dark areas should be the same for both teams (at least). That would seem much more fair.
