Damage Models (Berlin)

Look I know it’s been said a trillion times by now, but the two biggest issues that bother my average gameplay on Berlin have to be the damage models on the T-34s, and the turret client bug. They’re just obscene. I’ll have a green pen indicator on the hull, turret ring, cupola, whatever you can imagine, and even with a neon green indicator 99% of the time the damn thing bounces shells like they’re putty.

A T-34’s hull only has a maximum thickness of 45mm, at 45 degrees inclination. Shooting a hitscan railgun, perfectly level into this plate would mean that it’s got only 63 degrees maximum armor, which both the Pz. IV and Panther G’s guns can both easily pen with AP rounds. Especially when you take into account that rounds arc slightly in the air, meaning they come down slightly flatter-on against the sloped armor panels.

Ontop of this, even if the T-34’s hull is at 45 degrees to you, the ideal angle where both frontal and side armor offer equal protection, the combined equivalent armor is only 90mm, which falls short of the thickness needed to foil the Panther G

DamMod

The Panther G’s 75mmKwK42 gun, with APCR, tested against an already sloped plate at significant range exceeds these values with no doubt.

Even the Panzer IV J/s 75mm KwK 40 L/48 with APCR can penetrate the T-34 at berlin’s ranges.

TL:DR, fix your tonks bls

ah yes, gotta love survive from panthers and live enough to tells the other about it.

" those tanks looks tougher in videos "

The panzerfaust hit even harder than the pz4 and panther canon, pretty sad. It’s like playing against jumbo on Normandie or T-50 on moscow, you can’t shoot randomly and expect to kill them, BUT the big difference or problem is they are supposed to have only 45mm and you still can’t pen them even if the hit marker show you “green”
