The first part is just the abbreviation of the Jagdpanther, no idea about DW though, the -live probably signifies your (atempted) Youtube channel…?

Anyways, I go by many different names and nicknames, “A loved child goes by many names” as the Swedish idiom (roughly) says, but there are two main ones revelant for my activities specificly with Enlisted forums and Discord, both with their own backgrounds.

  • Firstly, there’s my account name, OggeKing, it comes from probably the oldest nickname I have, over a decade and a half now, at least since I was ten. Written fully, my nickname is “Ogge the King”, often just spoken by my friends and pupils as just “Ogge”. Ogge doesn’t mean anything, and contrary to most nicknames it was one of my own making, I bent “Osse”, one made by my mother, because I didn’t like it, and it has just stuck around since then. “The King” part precedes the usage of “King” as meaning “cool”, no I meant it in the literal sense, I am the King of my own castle, even when that “castle” was just a bedroom in my parents home.

  • Secondly, there’s my Discord name, I have been known to frequent the Official Enlisted Discord to play with randos from time to time, and I know a few forum members are on there too, hence why I am bringing it up here. There, I am called “Stoke Mandeville”, the name comes from the titular character of a comedy play written by (one amongst two writers) my favourite Youtuber Lindybeige (IRL Nikolas Lloyd) called “The Adventures of Stoke Mandeville, Astronaut and Gentleman” (here’s the link to the first episode, but the whole series isn’t online as it was never finished being filmed). Stoke Mandeville is a eccentric, and agressively British, steampunk explorer, who really really hates the Fr*nch. A man after my own heart.
