I looked up baljeet up on my school Chromebook and in a few second all of the photo were just gay ships of him and Buford… I’m scarred for life.
Ju 188 would be my favorite bomber. Nice payload, and a five man crew I can use as an assaulter squad when I get shot down. 
The Lancasters (and later Lincolns that were even originally named Lancasters as well) were IMO the best bombers of the war and would have been my first choice if Fighter-Bombers were not acceptable options. Also arguably the best bomber in the game too due to the combined firepower of the turrets, I have been shot down plenty atime by British bombers…

I mean the guns in reality were fairly good, just a shame British Bombers, and bombers in general are severely gimped in WT.

Bomber turret fire only works on planes that have to worry about ammo conservation, otherwise its very easy to shoot them down. But if you need to take careful shots in order to take all of the bombers out in one swing then they get ample time to fill you with holes (and eventually one lucky bullet out of thousands will either nail your pilot or kill your engine, just how it is).
The Zero would be unkillable if it had the ammunition capacity of their German or US counterparts.
I mean its more in WT, how a single 20mm round is liable to instantly rip off your entire wing or tail when in reality all these bombers were famous for flying with far more severe damage.
Also not once have I ever struggled against a bomber ngl, ignoring how large of a target it is, and how little damage they can take, just in general, most bombers lack sufficient defence in the angles most attacked.
