Delete the D-Day Map, is totaly unfun and i leave it every time. BTW on my last dday match we had to play 8vs16 … so i cant imagine that u can that map better, so delete it.

Game does not get stuck on 8 players, they are filled with bots to have always 10 at each side.

I just wish some of the concrete bunkers weren’t so busted with huge holes making the firing ports to the entrance useless because the enemy can just walk in through a hole in the roof, seems like allies win pretty easily on that map as it is so I doubt it would make any difference.

Yeah, I have same experience. In current version D-day map is a very easy run for Allies so I prefer to skip that map.

I actually like it as axis (even though it’s usually hopeless and we lose) because of those big cool bunkers, but I want the bunkers to be intact.
I love mowing down these Yankees with my sheer hatred.
No let’s not delete the D-Day map its the Normandy campaign its one of the main areas of battle. It would not be Normandy without the d day beach map.
Its like that so it makes it easier for the attacking team to get into the bunkers to capture the point its meant to be like that by design otherwise it would be a lot more difficult to attack and capture the points.
Also its good the bunkers are busted as it is meant to simulate actual d day and before the landings the beaches got pounded with bombers as well as naval guns so there are going to be bust up bunkers with giant holes in them on the beach.
You cant really expect the bunkers to be pristine its war stuff tends to get broken.
I imagen adolf wasn’t too happy about his precious Atlantic wall getting damaged by all those bombs and naval guns, what ever will the generals tell him. I’m pretty sure he lost his shit with the news of his Atlantic wall getting smashes by the Americans and British. Shame he was asleep at the time of the d day landings I mean what a thing to wake up too.
The bunkers were not THAT busted - anything that could do that damage to a few feet of concrete got inside and wrecked the rest of it too!
But the holes them selves are a choke point that can be defended from both the inside and outside… if all you do is sit on the MG’s and ignore the holes hen yeah, you let them get behind you easy, and you are toast

They missed and hit the town behind the beach though the navel guns are what messed up the bunkers
I don’t think there was any significant damage to bunkers from any of the bombardments - the holes are there solely as a gameplay balance device, not a reflection of history.
Some guns were KO-ed - but the bunker buildings were not breached.

I didn’t say anything about damage I’ve watched enough documentaries read enough books and articles on the subject to know the bombardment did barely anything except destroy a few telegraph lines and other miner infrastructure. I’m sorry buddy I respect your input most of the time but I really fucking hate that

OK i got the feeling that many players dislike that map, maybe we need a option to kick the map out of personal map rotation.
Like Warthunder, there i can decide wich map i like i dont like and i can chose one map that not showing up.
