What nonsense is this that you need X kills from a flamer/MG. Do you want new players to enjoy this event and join or not. The level requirement to get these two items is too high to even bother to farm up for the event.
Next time please make events more friendly to new players which they can achieve at lvl1 day 1.
the mg one can be done at any level since normandy has on map mg nests that do or should count as mg kills
And the flamer is lvl 5.
You can enjoy the first 2 rewards as a new player.
You seem to want even more free stuff you dont have to do anything for over higher level players actually getting a challenge as well?
I think the event is great.
This event is really terrible. The fact that you have to unlock each challenge one after another makes it even more of a tiresome grind.
I feel really sorry for people who work weekends and will either have to grind like crazy to try and get the stuff, or just not get it.
Some people moan about Twitch drops, but at least everyone can easily get Twitch drops.
This is just yet another grind, and makes the game feel like a chore to get stuff we should be getting easily, to celebrate D-Day.
MG is easy, real suffering comes with flamethrower. Unless you get lucky, you might call it a miracle if you get any kills with that.
Imagine what it’s like for all the people who main Moscow and have to try and unlock all the Normandy squads and weapons, to try and get the rewards in time.
This is such a terrible way to arrange an event, it’s just even more grinding over a weekend.

Have to have somebody else drive. Looks like fun but he didn’t really seem all that successful.
Yeah thought it must be someone else - still he got as many kills in those highlights as I got in 6 hrs play!!
At least he had fun with that task

I don’t like the Bren, so having to get 100 kills with a gun that has awful sights felt like a boring grind. The flamethrower challenge was fine (I already had a high level flamer squad) so I was able to do that quickly and actually enjoy it.
Now imagine you haven’t even played the Normandy campaign. You have to grind to unlock the squads you need (or conveniently buy an LMG squad…) then you have to hope you still have enough time left to complete all the challanges.
This game is a grind within a grind within a grind, the last thing it needs is a time limited grind added to it.
