It would be effective if you’re only facing BR 1-2 vehicles and if it’s good at going unnoticed by the others. Last time in BR1-2 I destroyed 2 light tanks with the Japanese HMG by shooting them in the sides, so I suppose that 20mm should be able to do something.
tried it in a br 3 match and just ended up snipping enemies trying to rush the point. haven’t gotten a tank kill yet but I wont be using it anymore unless im playing br1
Destroyed the kv-2 with it by hitting the fuel blocks or something and burning the kv-2 crew, lol
