Current balance megathread

APHE post pen should be buffed a bit. 45mm isn’t a nuke, but it shouldn’t take multiple penetrations to kill the crewman you’re hitting.
37mm does absolutely fine though funnily enough.

I think you misunderstand the nature of this thread.

It is mostly ment as suggestions for the polls.

Yes, and?

I am trying to keep things on topic.

Great questions, and post, and discussion. Kudos

Medkits - great as is. NO - dont remove awesome fun perks like recoil reduction, or 35% vitality boost. Tanks need rework - hmm maybe add T-34, or increase explosive damage to tanks.

MG nests - extremely stupid and annoying. Just promote stupid camping. By morons. Not the kind of gameplay we should promote.

Engineer works need to be limited as well - less points. Or one single engine can turn a point into impossible place.

But tanks, tanks, tanks - nerf German tanks. Or increase explosive damage to tanks.

PTRD and Mortar ones,
Both I have no opinion on as have not used/ unlocked either… yet.
But probably would vote on not allowing them to be used behind spawn lines.

Have you tried, I don’t know, sniping it? It takes less thought to counter MGs than to use them.
Just don’t stand in front of the tracers, and shoot where the tracers are coming from.

Would love to see maybe the MG nest become a portable weapon, such as a M1910 Maxim on a trolley/ DSkH/ MG08/34/42 Lafayette that has to be moved around and ‘built’ into a position, and unique to a specific squad that have no other benefits.

So maybe it takes two people to ‘carry one’ (minimum of two in squad to be alive to deploy) and once built can be positioned in windows or as a defensive point. But the squad can only have a rifle, and main gunner a pistol when not using the MG.

But I think that’s a topic for another day.

Hmm yes
800% DPS (SMG vs bolt action), 135% health, 115% speed, no recoil, 200% medkit effectiveness compared to a fresh soldier is totally not OP
There is a reason 45% of players vote to remove the health perk, lmao

Detpacks need to have their pen buffed by a bit or maybe the radius against tanks a bit, but if you land it near the tank like normal it should cripple/kill it 100% of the time. None of this diceroll bullshit.

Agreed, I threw one perfectly on top of the T-60 earlier and it just damaged the gun, didn’t pen and it was a WTF moment.

That’s an actual WTF moment. I love rolling them under the front edge of Panzers just to get a Hit))) or it’s just an inch too far from the side. Had it happen when I landed it on the ufp of a BT-7 earlier today too.

35% vitality is only at Level 5. That takes a lot of effort, and basically max level. And it’s such a fun perk! You feel like a tank, great for frontline assaulter. But it is really hard to get so, I think its ok.

MG Nests - maybe limit their ammo, as voting is suggesting

And sometimes you get cucked out of the 35% health perk when you do get a guy to lvl 5 because he might not have the 8 vitality required. My first level 5 only had 7 lmao, but that’s okay since I had other perks in mind.

YEAH! That one is serious bummer! Those Academy luck rolls…

Unless you just pay to get 4 of those soldiers, already leveled up and with enough atribbute points (I don’t know how to name them) to get all desired perks. I maneged to get one V tier soldier from the start of the CBT - standard trooper, but with vitality perk. It’s rewarding to see the guy you invested so much time in is able to survive longer. But still he is nowhere near premium soldiers - no points left for medkit perk, recoil perks etc. Problem with perks is that they are too powerfull (especially combined in premium squads) for new players to fight against. They should be nerfed or removed.
You could have your “tank soldier” by putting some armor on him - there is already a slot for it. He would have his torso protected - higer chances to survive, but that would make him a little slower. But it could be at last explained somehow instead of having some magical 35% more health. And would add more ways to develop soldiers instead of grinding for the most powerful perks.

And there is no matchmaker, so your max level squads annihilate newbies, leading to them leaving the game, killing the game within the year

Unless there are more wipes, there will be people with full level 5 maxed soldiers in every squad they have. Seems fun. Meanwhile, premium squads are your P2W way to 135% health

100% realistic to be a tank as a human. Riiight.

Making it hard =/= making it balanced.
Just like y’all complaining about the MP41 being OP.
“Killing a premium guy with MP41 is hard, but not impossible”
But you say hard = balanced, so I guess it is not OP?

Exactly

Currently 61% wants the health perk nerfed or removed, with most people wanting it removed.
While 31% wants it to stay as is, and 8% voted other.

It takes forever to reach Lvl 5 with anything, well, maybe not riflemen.

35% is just large enough, where you feel it makes a good difference. Squishiness is “realistic” but doesn’t work in MMO FPS. What ends up happening - players camp more, instead of pushing and assaulting.

That’s not a term I’ve heard in a long time…

But anyway, if we were all using semi autos and automatics it would be one thing, but where bolt actions are the common weapon, the difference between needing 1 and 2 shots to go down is too extreme.

I could compromise on restricting it to Normandy and Moscow where TTK is lower.

12v12 = massive multiplayer online?
As far as I noticed, you need to capture points. Those points turn everything into a meatgrinder.
Last time I checked, nobody was really camping a lot in Enlisted.

35% means 1-2 extra shots on every weapon.
It should AT LEAST slow you down, like having armor.
