does anyone know if cross play for pc to console will ever be a thing?

Doubtful. If they do then everyone will complain of unbalanced bs and how pc have upper hand with mkb or consoles get aim assist . Who knows. But I doubt it dude.
It’s very likely we already have it but so far nobody on the forum has put in the effort to check for sure.
The closest I’ve gotten to testing it myself is by searching for xbox player usernames from these forums. Their names show up without @live on them in-game, so I would assume we already have crossplay without most realizing it.
Also good to point out that consoles have had kb/m support since the 360/ps3, and it’s common for Xbone and ps4 players to use kbm on war thunder

I am about to undergo an unholy experiment where I make controller gameplay less trash by using the xbox controller keypad for some keybinds.
I’ve never had a problem with controller aiming, but Enlisted has a lot of valuable keybinds that just don’t make it to controllers.
Edit: it’s still jankier than it has any right to be. Would not recommend even if you’re used to controller aiming.
