We just recently received the Cromwell I which has 57mm gun and 3 inches of frontal armour.

What I’m proposing today is the Cromwell VII

It has worse penetrating 75mm gun but with better anti infantry capability due to higher caliber with more potent HE shell. This variant also had its armour increased from standard 3 inches to 4 inches of frontal thickness.

Whilst I would love a Mk VII, it’s important to remember that War Thunder only has Marks I and V.

And, no tank is ever going to be added to Enlisted that doesn’t exist in War Thunder first… they port over the models, as a cost-saving messure.

All they need to do is take Cromwell V, increase the armour to 4 inches and thats it, new tank.

I love history and variety, so I support pretty much any and everything!

while that is most likely…I dont believe the flame panzer or HT-130 are in Warthunder

I remember from steel division that Cromwell has howitzer version too, and another version with 120mm ish frontal armour, there could be a lot of fun variations.

Sdkfz251/1, M3A1 half-track, Type 1 Ho-Ha and LVT-4 are also not in War Thunder as far as I know.

So we do get vehicles for Enlisted sometimes, but I personally rather see those devs work on new APCs or armoured cars then tanks. We can port many tanks from War Thunder after all.

This two have been air combat mode’s ground target for a long time I think

well with 120mm front I dont think it would fit in BR 3 so having it in BR 4 would kinda also make it pointless.
also

the 95mm gun is already ingame on the alecto and people just shit on it for beeing “just a worse 75mm sherman HE”.
So i dont know if people would want that eighter.

Too bad then lmao.

BR is always a problem though, this game really need more BR to dilute the power ladder.

Yes, but they were in much worse quality, unusable for Enlisted.

The more variations of the Cromwell tank, the more historically accurate it becomes.
