With the increasing number of tanks that are now able to use their hull mounted machine guns, people are now experiencing the issues that Japanese players have been experiencing for quite some time now. Machine gunners in your tank crew will prioritize sitting on the machine gun rather than be a loader, a gunner, or a commander.
This issue is frustrating to deal with and can get you killed in many situations, I know it’s gotten me killed quite a few times. It also means that getting hit can be more detrimental as losing a loader means that you’ll never get it back since your MG guy is gonna stay where he’s seated.
The best fix would be to let players choose in their settings or hanger what order the crew should take their positions. If that’s too much then a simple reorder would do the trick. Machine gunner < Commander < Loader < Gunner < Driver, or something slightly different.
