I have couple of ideas on how to improve the Pacific campaign. It’s going to be mainly about the Japanese tho, as I play mainly them (if you have some ideas, especially for the US, share them here):

First of all, remove the damn HESCO Barrier - There has already been a lot of suggestions about this, including mine: Replace the HESCO Barrier, but the best one by far has been made by ErikaKalkbrenner, as she proposed a good solution as well: No more HESCO Barriers! ( here is a solution + a "free" map for modders ).

Remove the concussion from the 12.7mm rounds - It’s just a .50 cal, you can’t stuff enough explosives there to make it an HE, tracer is the best you can do. Besides, now MGMC’s concussion paired with the M2’s fire rate is just annoying AF.

Buff the Type 100 by reducing its recoil - Currently it’s the worst SMG of the IJA, if not of the Pacific Campaign: very bumpy recoil, low fire rate and not the best damage, although you can’t really do much about the last two. I’ve already suggested reducing its recoil so that it’s lower than that of the starter S1-100 (as it should be): Re-balance the Type 100.

Enable the Ha-Go turret machine gun - Again, I’ve already suggested this: Ha-Go turret machine gun. In short, since it’s not a coax, it should be available as the second view, the way different view ports work on some tanks.

Increase the fire rate of the Type 1 and Type 2a - It’s more of a historical than a gameplay fix - every source I know of says their RoF was around 800 rpm, not 570 and 690 (upgraded) respectively. And I’m not saying they have to be specifically at 800, but I think that they should be closer to it than they’re now.

Allow the Ka-Chi commander to use the hatch - Because why not? And it alsh has been suggested before: Ka-Chi Hatch.

Implement the proper Type 97 AT rifle model - I know it’s a placeholder, but considering that the MG 42 buildable also was, and the Flakvierling still is one, it seems like it might become the placeholder™ as well.
