He was more of an ordinary guy. There were a lot of people like him there. He’s no crazier than a typical anonymous user from 4chan or something like that.

I’d better say it now. A significant part of the French resistance was made up of emigrants from Russia. Hell, even in Italy there were quite a few Russian emigrants among the anti-fascists and partisans.
What is their reason?

Well I am trying as much as possible to make this into a neutral discussion - but you are right that this really isn’t a neutral topic to begin with.
So the best and healthiest thing to do here is to simply go and focus on soviet cossacks - since those were the majority anyways ( at least how I remember).

It was official cavalry of Red Army. In 1942 - 60 % of the all RKKA calavalry units. No cause to speak something else

Now I’m tormented by doubts about which is better: a saber or a knife. We could make an event with an infantry squad at BR1 with Mosin carbines and sabers. Save the knives for later BRs and squads with automatic weapons. But no one will give us 2 squads.

Anyway - nice uniqe feature of squad - everyone have an old fashioned sabre!

I also like an idea to have even 1 br squad - 9 men with a fast ROF cossack Mosin and cossack Shashka sabre. (Anyway you can take a second slot with AVT-20 brrrrrr)
It seems like we haven’t had a truly unique-looking squad since the Moroccans. I feel laziness. I don’t think we’ll see any Cossacks at all.
