It irritates me that my Premium Italian Assaulter squad can be fully decked out in German uniforms. It shouldn’t be hard for devs to limit squads to specific uniforms. This happens a bit on all Nations with the exception of most event squads that have outfits that stay true to thier nation. I understand that some squads had soldiers recruited from other nations and were put into that particular military uniform as a detachment, but shouldn’t be the case for all.
It bothers me when soldiers are represented in the wrong uniforms
Well, I’ve heard that there are actually many, many player-modified military uniforms that are historically accurate lying around in the editor, but DF has never touched them. I remember there’s an old saying that passionate players are always more responsible than the planners. Especially in the military aspect, I’ve seen some war films where when enthusiasts shoot them at their own expense, the effect is even more historically accurate than those big-budget movies.
