Why allow console players to see messages from PC players? Because I played co-op with a PC player who sent me important information, and I simply didn’t receive it! I find it a bit silly that a game based on teamwork didn’t include this option from the start! But hey, if no one says anything, you can’t know!

I agree they need to close the amount of differences between all platforms, but I get the feeling once they add keyboard and mouse support this might be a thing. Assuming that they didn’t scrap that, it’s been a very long time since they said it was coming.

Unfortunately, I don’t have a keyboard or mouse because it requires an adapter, and I can’t get one with my current setup :smiling_face_with_tear: But when someone talks to me, with or without a keyboard, I’d still like to see the messages :smiling_face_with_tear::smiling_face_with_tear::smiling_face_with_tear:

Based on your name I’m guessing you’re on PlayStation, whether it’s PS4 or PS5 you should still be able to use keyboard and mouse. All versions of the PlayStation 5 have two usb-A ports, and if memory serves the same can be said of the PS4. Most if not all game consoles are going to have two USB-A ports, the only real exception of that is going to be the Nintendo switch or something like the steam deck.

So it still should be possible without an adapter, but I do agree you should at a minimum be able to see their messages. Why this is remained a PC exclusive thing is beyond me. I have a friend that plays on PC while I play on console and he’s got a significant edge over me just because he can see other people typing in place of soldier orders.
